Privacy Policy for Oversoul

This Privacy Policy describes how Multidimensional Self Inc. (“Oversoul,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) collects, uses, processes, stores, and protects personal information when you use the Oversoul mobile application and related services (the “Application”).
By using the Application, you agree to the practices described below.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information necessary to provide, personalize, maintain, and improve the Application.
A. Automatically Collected Information
When you use the Application, we may collect:
IP address
Device type and operating system
Usage data (screens visited, timestamps, session duration)
Diagnostic and crash data
We do not collect precise geolocation data.
B. User-Provided Information
When you register or interact with the Application, you may provide:
Name
Email address
Journal entries
Daily Alignment entries
AI conversation content
Voice recordings (if voice features are used)
Certain reflective, emotional, belief-based, or psychological content you voluntarily provide may be considered sensitive personal data under applicable privacy laws.
2. Sensitive Data Consent
By voluntarily providing reflective, emotional, belief-based, or voice data within the Application, you explicitly consent to the processing of such information for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.
You may withdraw consent and request deletion of your data at any time (see Section 9).
3. Data Storage and Backend Infrastructure
Oversoul uses secure backend infrastructure to store user data, including journal entries, alignment logs, conversation history, and emotional pattern analysis results.
We use Xano as our backend database and infrastructure provider. Xano processes and stores data on our behalf under contractual agreements designed to protect your information.
Access to stored data is restricted to authorized personnel and controlled through internal access controls.
4. AI Processing and Conversations
Oversoul includes AI-powered conversational and reflective features.
When you use text-based AI features:
Your messages are transmitted to third-party AI providers (including OpenAI) to generate responses and insights.
Conversation content may be securely stored within your account to preserve context and continuity.
Access to user conversations is limited to authorized personnel and only for system improvement, technical debugging, misuse prevention, safety monitoring, or support.
We do not sell your conversations or use them for advertising.
Data submitted through the OpenAI API is not used by OpenAI to train their public models.
We may use aggregated, de-identified data to improve Application performance and feature quality.
Oversoul does not use automated decision-making systems that produce legal or similarly significant effects.
5. AI Voice Processing and Audio Data
Oversoul offers optional voice interaction features.
When you use voice features:
Your audio input is transmitted to Hume.ai for speech recognition and emotional analysis.
Audio may be temporarily stored or accessible within Hume.ai’s secure dashboard for processing and system monitoring.
Audio is processed in anonymized or pseudonymized form.
Emotional inference data may be generated and stored within your Oversoul profile to enhance personalization.
Oversoul does not sell audio recordings or use them for advertising purposes.
Oversoul does not use voice data to uniquely identify individuals or create biometric identifiers.
Audio retention is governed by our internal policies and our service providers’ retention practices.
6. Use of Information
We use collected information to:
Provide and maintain Application functionality
Generate personalized insights
Improve AI systems and user experience
Monitor misuse and ensure safety
Communicate updates
Provide customer support
7. Third-Party Service Providers
We use trusted service providers to operate the Application:
Xano – Backend data storage and infrastructure
OpenAI – AI language processing and response generation
Hume.ai – Voice processing and emotional analysis
OneSignal – Push notifications
RevenueCat – Subscription and payment management
These providers process data on our behalf under contractual agreements.
8. International Data Transfers
Your information may be processed and stored in countries outside your state, province, or country of residence, including the United States.
These jurisdictions may have data protection laws different from those in your location. By using the Application, you consent to such transfers.
9. Data Retention and Deletion
We retain user-provided data while your account is active.
If you delete your account or request deletion, we will delete or anonymize your data within 30 days, subject to legal obligations and backup retention cycles.

11. Not Medical or Therapeutic Service
Oversoul is not a medical, psychological, psychiatric, or therapeutic service. The Application does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
Any insights generated by AI systems are for informational and reflective purposes only.
If you are experiencing a mental health crisis or require professional care, please seek assistance from a licensed healthcare provider.
12. Children’s Privacy
Oversoul is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
13. Security
We use encryption, secure storage practices, access controls, and monitoring systems to protect your information.
However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
14. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Continued use of the Application constitutes acceptance of changes.
